Cate Twining-Ward was born in Australia and grew up in Samoa, New York City, and Denmark. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Studies, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration and Environmental Science and Policy at Columbia University. She has worked at the United Nations Headquarters on the Sustainable Development Team at the Office of the President of the General Assembly and for several NGOs in Sierra Leone, Uganda, and Rwanda. Cate is also a Senior Correspondent for an environmental journalism organization, and an avid photographer and traveler.
