Bev Zeigler

Bev serves as Major Gift Officer for the Global Carbon Reward Initiative. Bev has 27 years of experience in cultivating, soliciting, and shepherding donors in Northern California to support both public and private educational and environmental programs and institutions. Bev has led multiple annual funds and capital campaigns that have raised over $30 million. She has received recognition for her volunteer fundraising services, including: Volunteer of the Year at Bellevue Public School District, Santa Rosa, CA, and Founders Circle Award from the Sonoma Country Day School. Bev has also served as a Retail Executive and paralegal assisting attorneys in settling estates. Ms. Zeigler is also the owner of an historic vineyard in Santa Rosa, California. Bev is committed to advancing the Global Carbon Reward Initiative because its potential as a national and international solution to climate disruption and saving the lives of future generations.

Jim McGreen

Jim serves as Advocacy Advisor of the Global Carbon Reward Initiative. He has worked with Dr. Chen on the Global Carbon Reward policy since 2017. Jim has been working on solutions to climate change since at least 1988 when he rode a single-cylinder motorcycle north to Inuvik, Northwest Territories to see the Arctic warming firsthand. Jim has been a successful entrepreneur, designer, and inventor since his teens. He started what is believed to be the first electric bicycle company, Zero Air Pollution - “ZAP” - in 1992 and during the decade made over 25,000 micro EVs. Jim is an articulate presenter of the Global Carbon Reward Policy and Initiative and is committed to thoughtful and collaborative deliberation and action to rapidly stabilize the climate and avert massive species extinction across the planet.

Mac Legerton

Mac Legerton serves as Sponsorship Manager of the Global Carbon Reward Initiative in the United States. He is a leader in climate disaster and climate justice work and is a rural development specialist. He serves as the Interim Director of the North Carolina Climate Solutions Coalition and is the Co-Director of the Robeson County Cooperative for Sustainable Development in rural North Carolina (NC). He is the 2007 recipient of the Distinguished Service to Rural Life Award from the Rural Sociological Society for his work in multicultural development, social justice and sustainable development. He serves as a consultant for non-governmental and governmental organizations, and his focus is to turn visions into effective voices and successful institutional vessels. Mac has also assisted in writing and leveraging over $50 million in grant funding for both public and private agencies and organizations. He is an ordained minister in the Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ.

Dr Delton Chen

Delton Chen founded the Global Carbon Reward initiative in 2013. Delton is a qualified civil engineer and geo-hydrologist, and he holds a Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia. Delton did his doctoral research on the hydrology of a coral cay in the Great Barrier Reef, and he has 20 years of combined experience in groundwater management, environmental impact assessment, geothermal energy and climate mitigation. Delton is a thought-leader in the development of public policies based on Central Bank Digital Currencies, and is a member of the Blockchain Climate Institute. Delton founded the “Global Carbon Reward” initiative to help reduce and remove carbon at the speed and scale that are needed to stabilize the climate and meet the 2015 Paris Agreement. Delton believes that the Global Carbon Reward can fill the funding gap for climate mitigation and help protect communities and ecosystems from the ravages of climate change and over-consumption.
