Henry is a co-founder and Director of Common Capital, helping government, industry and non-profit clients harness markets to accelerate the commercialisation and deployment of zero and negative carbon technologies. He has deep expertise and experience in innovative market-based mechanisms to accelerate deployment of clean technologies and practices, with 20 years in Government and management consulting. This includes policy and economic analysis, detailed regulatory design, method development, stakeholder engagement, and program implementation and reform. He has authored an international best practice handbook on baseline and credit schemes. He is also a co-founder and director of the non-profit Climate Recovery Institute, focused on industry, innovator and government collaboration to accelerate deployment carbon dioxide removal (CDR), and founder and director of Intragrid: a clean energy data analytics start-up.

Henry’s prior experience includes Manager Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Policy Branch of the NSW State Government environment department; Policy Advisor to the NSW Minister for Environment and Climate Change, and leading of a range of operational regulatory reform projects for the NSW Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) executive including pollution control, radiation management, and private native forestry, and working on social exclusion policy in the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit for the United Kingdom Government. He also brings a breadth of industry experience from is time as a management consultant at IBM, assisting clients on operational strategy issues including Westpac Bank, Bank of New Zealand, ING Life Insurance, Optus telecommunications, Orica, and OneSteel. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons I) and a Masters of Public Policy from Sydney University.
