The financial solution is an unconventional market-based policy\, called a Global Carbon Reward (GCR). The proposal is to offer a financial reward for mitigated carbon\, on a global basis\, and according to a set of generally applicable reward rules. The reward will be issued as a carbon currency that will be bankable\, debt-free\, and characterised by long-term value appreciation. The main goal of the GCR policy is to manage the anthropogenic carbon balance in order to stabilise the climate system and to limit the climate-related risks. In this presentation\, Delton will focus on the reward rule for cleaner energy\, which has yet to be considered by energy experts.
